Another naughty belly dance video by Malu Trevejo quarantined the internet, reminding her why those goosebumps made her viral. The clip is captioned, “Why did I stop? brb This is a workout day one,” and it shows the singer and social media influencer floating about with mesmerizing perfection while the fans yelled for more.

If recorded outdoors right by the beach, that was for sure glamour and fancy. The crisp video shows Malu going full aura on belly dancing with her hips defying gravity. It says: maybe day one of a workout routine, but seriously, no one is here for the night. Everyone is here just for good vibes, and Malu sure delivered.
The comments soon poured in with praises, nostalgia, and some hilarious returns. One user stated, “That’s how I first followed you… wish you did more of these,” clearly one of those who longs for days when Malu’s belly dance clips were an everyday thing. Shortly another fan added, “Watching you dance should be illegal I’m officially hypnotized” and honestly, same energy.
However, there were some trolls saying: “Wanna be Arab soo bad,” slapped one, while another said, “I hope that none Arab girls stay away from bellydance… I understand that you like it and you’re trying but wtf.” Oof. The cultural appropriation debate pretty much every time arises once some non-Arab celeb starts belly dancing, and Malu just isn’t exempt from this.
There were those stranger remarks, like this one that claimed, “That platform to the left of your door is a platform that you need to tap in a code to open a portal to the different places that you can go to in this universe.” Uh…sure, Jan. Whatever it is you’re smoking, I’m gonna need some.
Aesthetic joy was felt by some of the fans watching the video, with one commenting, “You look like an Egyptian girl,” while another simply declared, “Fabulous, absolutely unbelievable.” Besides that, the energy was all-announcer voices-style: “🔥🔥❤️🔥😍SEXY Y RICO 🔥❤️🔥 MOVIMIENTO 😍🔥❤️🔥🔥,” ’cause sometimes words just don’t cut it and it’s all down on emojis.
Malu is Nadia Hamoudi for stirring content, be it music, dances, or general online shenanigans. This video is no exception-and it’s on everyone’s lips. Honestly? That was probably what she wanted.

Will this be a single throwback, or is Malu bringing back the belly dance era for good? Only time can tell, but by the way, things are looking, the fans surely wouldn’t mind her full comeback. In her next, please keep the inter-dimensional portal theories on a low.
