Jasmine Roth’s Mom Is Speechless After Surprise Apartment Renovation

Jasmine Roth‘s mom was nearly speechless after the Roast My Rental star surprised her with an apartment renovation.

On Friday, July 9, the former Help! I Wrecked My House designer took to Instagram with a video of her and her family revealing the finished makeover. “Oh my gosh! Soooo I guess my mom likes it!?!” Roth, 41, captioned her update. “Good thing because there’s no turning back now. Want to see what she’s seeing?”

In the clip, her mother walked through the front door with an astonished expression. “It’s totally different!” she exclaimed. “Oh, this is…. oh my goodness!” she added, after clapping giddily and taking in the new look of her home.

The video ended with Roth’s mom getting a bit emotional, as the HGTV star, her husband, Brett Roth, and their daughters, Hazel and Darla, lingered near the door.

Earlier that day, Roth explained, “My mom signed a lease on a new apartment right up the street from our house in Utah,” noting that it was “brand new” and “completely empty.” She added, ” kicked my mom out and told her she isn’t allowed to come back until it’s all done. Today is the day!”

Roth also shared a video showing off each newly-renovated room at her mother’s home.

In the comments, Roth’s followers shared their reactions to the renovation she did for her mom. One declared, “Oooh, I love the colors! It’s beautiful and cozy!”

Another shared, “I love all of the earth tones, especially the brown drapes. Could we get some links?”

Someone else pointed out, “Love all the storage you put in and the variety of soft colors.”

A different Instagram user joked, “Can you come and do mine now, please?”
