Martha Stewart on Ex’s Reaction to Documentary, Infidelity Admission 

Martha Stewart is cooking up realness. 

After the chef revealed in her 2024 documentary Martha that she engaged in an affair while married to her ex-husband Andy Stewart, the 85-year-old shared whether she’s heard from her ex—whom, at the time, she hadn’t spoken to in 20 years—following the revelation.

“Only legally, to remind me of divorce settlement statements, which I had never read,” Martha—who split from Andy in 1990—told People in an interview published Aug. 5. “I mean, who cared after two years of arguing about a settlement? I still haven’t read it.”

Not mincing words about her ex, she then added, “He’s a jerk.”

E! News has reached out to Andy’s team for comment but has not yet heard back. 

Because while Martha did admit to an affair, there was infidelity on both sides of her almost 30-year marriage. As she told viewers in her documentary, “Young women, listen to my advice: If you’re married and your husband starts to cheat on you, he’s a piece of s–t.”
