DSW Sneak Peek Fall Boots & Loafers

We don’t know about you, but we’re already planning our fall shoe wardrobe. While we won’t know for sure which specific shoes or brands will be trending this upcoming cozy season, we can make some pretty educated guesses. Trends are cyclical, after all. Plus, brands are already releasing their fall 2026 collections. 

DSW is no exception. We went to the shoe retailer’s fall 2026 press preview event, and learned some major key points about what will likely be trending very soon. We’re talking everything from the classic knee-high boots we see every year to the loafers and animal print that’s trending even now, in the summer. 

“Shoppers can expect the fall collections to be full of warmth, nostalgia and easy polish. Animal prints are the new neutral. Loafers are very big, as they are endlessly wearable and dress up any outfit effortlessly; they’re the comfortable heel alternative,” a DSW spokesperson told E! during the Fall 2026 Press Preview Event.
