Geese’s Cameron Winter has announced his first live album, which he recorded at the historic Carnegie Hall.
The gig was held last December at the iconic New York venue, and came as part of his run of stripped-back solo gigs.
For the majority of the setlist, Cameron performed tracks from his 2024 debut album, ‘Heavy Metal’, but re-envisioned them on the piano. He also shared three previously unreleased compositions, ‘It All Fell In The River’, ‘Emperor XIII In Shades’ and ‘If You Turn Back Now’, before closing the set with 2024 double singles ‘Take It With You’ and ‘Vines’.
Live at Carnegie Hall is set for release on October 9 via Partisan Records and Play It Again Sam, and available digitally, as well as on CD and vinyl. Visit here to pre-order.

On the night, those in attendance noticed director Paul Thomas Anderson filming the set with Panavision 35mm gear, and he was reportedly being assisted by US filmmaker and actor Benny Safdie (Uncut Gems, Good Time, Heaven Knows What). News of the footage or an accompanying live film is yet to be revealed.
Anderson is best known for directing films including One Battle After Another, There Will Be Blood, The Master, Inherent Vice, Phantom Thread and Licorice Pizza.
The latter saw Alana Haim make her acting debut, and came after Anderson shot the artwork for Haim’s 2020 album ‘Women In Music Pt. III’. Since then, he has also shot the cover of their 2025 album ‘I Quit’. He has also helmed music videos for Radiohead and The Smile.
When Cameron Winter brought his stripped-back solo show to London at the end of 2025, NME gave the Roundhouse gig a glowing five-star review, writing: “Cameron Winter has the power, talent and magnetism of a future great – a star to go the distance with just that voice, a piano and a whole world quite literally at his fingertips.”
The coming weeks will see Winter continue his run of tour dates with Geese, which include festival slots at Reading & Leeds next week and End Of The Road in September. The former NME Cover stars will also be playing a headline show at Glasgow’s Barrowland on August 26, followed by a gig at London’s Troxy on September 1.
