Freaky Nikki will find you at Halloween Horror Nights!

Freaky Nikki of Obsession will be stalking you in the fog at Halloween Horror Nights this year. 

The unhinged girlfriend played by Inde Navarrette has brought “clingy” to a whole new level. Because of Navarrentte’s performance, single men hesitate before swiping right. Additionally, those in relationships now sleep with one eye open next to their partner. 

The independent movie was made on a shoestring budget of $750,000, and grossed nearly half a billion dollars! 

Now Curry Barker’s first theatrical release found a new level of success. Obsession is going to be a part of Halloween Horror Nights 2026 in both Hollywood and Orlando. Freaky Nikki will be a roaming character this year in both parks. This means she will not be haunting a house based on the movie. Instead, actors dressed as Nikki Freeman will be roaming the park and scaring attendees at the Halloween event.

John Murdy, the Creative Director of Halloween Horror Nights, announced at Midsummer Scream;

“Nikki’s out there somewhere. You kind of have to get into a ‘Where’s Waldo?’ mentality. She’s out there somewhere and she might be looking for her next obsession.” 

Murdy further goes on to explain including Freaky Nikki to both parks was a last minute addition to this year’s roster. Each Horror Nights is planned at least a year in advance. However, Obsession’s success hit halfway through 2026 upon its release. By May the ball was already quickly rolling towards the autumn event. 

However, the success of the film and excitement from the fans spoke loudly to the HHN team, and they moved fast to pull off a little horror magic!

Be sure to be on the look out for Freak Nikki at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando and Hollywood. Or should we say; look out for Freaky Nikki, because as Murdy said, she might be looking for her next obsession… and it could be you!
