“You are heading into hostile terrain!” This looks ridiculously fun! 🇺🇸 Aura Entertainment has launched the main official trailer for The Beast, a totally bonkers action thriller movie coming up this year. Yet another entry in the “president under attack” subgenre including movies like White House Down and Air Force One. In this one, it’s about him being stuck inside the highly armored & weaponized SUV the President gets called “The Beast”. From director Renny Harlin (who also made this year’s Deep Water shark movie) comes this new action comedy. When a militia of unidentified hostiles coordinates a coup against the US, the president himself is forced to drive the presidential limousine & unlock the full extent of The Beast’s highly classified capabilities to save his injured agent, reunite with his wife, and maybe save the world. Let ’em roll! Starring Samuel L. Jackson, Joel Kinnaman, Colin Morgan, & Guy Burnet. This is a very funny trailer with endless jokes. The teaser was also hilarious, but this trailer takes the cake! Looks like good times dumb fun.

The Beast is directed by prolific Finnish filmmaker Renny Harlin, director of many films including Born American, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, Die Hard 2 (!!), Cliffhanger, Cutthroat Island, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Deep Blue Sea, Mindhunters, Exorcist: The Beginning, The Covenant, Cleaner, 12 Rounds, 5 Days of War, Devil’s Pass, The Legend of Hercules, Skiptrace, Bodies at Rest, The Misfits, Class Reunion 3, The Refuge, The Bricklayer, Deep Water, and the The Strangers: Chapters 1 – 3 movies previously. The screenplay is written by Umair Aleem. It’s produced by Keith Kjarval, John Logan Pierson, Robert Van Norden, Nicki Cortese, Marcos Flores, Wayne Marc Godfrey, Larry Olmstead.
