CBS is ringing in two very special milestones this spring with 100th episode celebrations for Young Sheldon and S.W.A.T.
The two very different series may cover opposing genres, but they’re both hitting their anniversary within weeks of each other. Young Sheldon will kick things off on Thursday, March 31 with a brand-new episode. No further details or plot have been shared, but star Raegan Revord gave fans a peek into the production via social media.
“Filming our 100th EPISODE today!,” the actress captioned a series of images posted on January 21. “What a ride this has been! Growing up on this show surrounded by the most amazing cast and crew has been life changing. Thank you to all of our fans for tuning in every week, we would not be here celebrating if it wasn’t for you guys!” Revord portrays Sheldon’s (Iain Armitage) twin sister, Missy Cooper.
Meanwhile, S.W.A.T.‘s 100th episode will arrive Sunday, April 10 as Hondo (Shemar Moore) and the team ring in the achievement. Similar to Revord, Moore also commemorated the occasion by sharing a behind-the-scenes look at filming the landmark episode.
On Instagram, the actor thanked fans and the show’s team for such a great run so far, “100 Episodes of working with the best CREW, TEAM, & FAM in the business …. Hitting this milestone on a show these days is an incredible accomplishment!!” he wrote on February 12. “Thank you to everyone of you for your never ending hard work, insane amount of hours and dedication to our show! Let’s stay winning and celebrate … and to all the fans out there who tune in and watch every week….. THANK YOU!!! … We wouldn’t be here without your support!!!”
