Has Dorit Kemsley been axed from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after nine seasons with the series? She joined in Season 7 thanks to her husband’s close friendship with Lisa Vanderpump, but formed her own relationships with the ladies. Unfortunately, she has had a very rough season, leading fans to wonder if she had been let go. Keep reading for more details on what she had to say.
It’s Time For Her To Go
When Dorinda Medley was drinking a little too much and causing way too many fights on RHONY, Bravo knew what had to be done. They allegedly put her on “pause” for a season and made Season 12 the last for her. Little did they know what a trainwreck Season 13 would be and that the whole show would have to undergo an overhaul. It was eventually rebooted with a new cast, and everyone else was washed away. Regardless, Dorinda has maintained that she was on a “pause,” and with the way that RHOBH star Dorit Kemsley acted in Season 15, it appears that should be her fate, as well.
It seems that there has been some speculation that she has been let go. Recently, she was promoting her new book, Unburdened, which will be released in June. Dorit addressed the rumors about her being fired from RHOBH head-on:
“Not that I’ve heard, unless you have information that I don’t have.”
Keep in mind that the Season 15 reunion just wrapped up. That means contracts for the upcoming season have not even gone out. Therefore, Bravo has likely not decided who to keep and who to axe. Dorit’s future may be on the line, and she just does not know it yet, or does not want to think about it. She is in a financial crisis, as seen on the show. The mortgage on her home has not been paid in months. Moreover, her estranged husband, PK, has claimed that she has a spending problem, prioritizing shopping over bills.
Does She Have Friends Left?
At this point, does Dorit Kemsley have anything left on RHOBH? She is alienated from Kyle Richards, Sutton Stracke, and Erika Jayne. However, she does believe that there is hope for her and Erika, despite their estrangement:
“I really hope so. I can’t imagine that we don’t [reconcile]. Erika and I have so much history. We have so much. I love her, and I know she loves me, and God, it’s um, it’s so heartbreaking when you have a falling out, and it’s intense.”
As for her longstanding friendship with OG Kyle, it does not seem that she cares all that much for reconciliation. Fans seem to want Dorit gone, but they have also stated that they would like to see the show gone:
- Just cancel all of this trash already
- Whether Kyle is behind it or not, I hope Dorit is canned. So long overdue.
