Ariana Madix’s Brother Skeptical Of Her Boyfriend, Dan
Shortly after Ariana Madix learned that Tom Sandoval was cheating on her with Rachel Leviss, she attended a wedding. That was when she was introduced to New York-based Daniel Wai and the two had a connection. Of course, she was still processing a lot of trauma so the two of them took it very slowly. They even noted that being bicoastal helped a lot as it forced them to really get to know one another. Now, over a year later, they appear very happy and committed. As for Vanderpump Rules viewers, they just officially met him on the show in the latest episode, which aired on April 30th.
Lala Kent was not being overly supportive of Ariana’s new romance until they were all in San Francisco. She came into Ariana and Daniel’s hotel room and saw him half-naked, post-shower. That was when she struggled to speak and stop staring. At the same time, in the season finale, airing May 7th, she feels the need to interrogate Daniel. She then told co-star, Katie Maloney that Daniel sounded like a “square.” Lala’s reasoning for being so harsh was this:
“I will be damned if another person comes into this group dating someone and they end up being an a**hole.”
It seems that Ariana Madix’s brother, Jeremy Madix agrees with Lala’s methods, according to The Sun. He had this to say via Instagram:
“After everything that happened I’m side-eyeing EVERYBODY. Lala is being protective of Ariana by asking all the right questions.”
Jeremy has most recently been seen hugging it out with Ariana’s ex, Tom Sandoval, and celebrating his engagement with Scheana Shay. He is currently not on speaking terms with his sister who he was once very close to.
The Estrangement
Viewers may recall that Jeremy Madix worked at SUR and even dated Billie Lee for a short period of time. However, he was deemed “creepy” by show alums Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute. He lived with Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix in their apartment, later taking it over when they bought their home.
Jeremy recently shared he had not spoken to Ariana in months but did not initially say why. Then, he got engaged and noted that things were not great between his new fiancee and Ariana so he had to make a choice. Looks like this won’t help bring them back together.
