Former WWE stars Enzo Amore and Big Cass are reportedly being discussed for a possible return. The former tag team became one of WWE’s most popular acts during their run together from 2013 to 2017.
Is WWE bringing back Enzo Amore and Big Cass?
Enzo Amore and Big Cass first rose to popularity in WWE’s NXT brand before becoming fan favorites on the main roster. The duo became known for their interactions with fans. Their catchphrase, “My name is Enzo Amore, and I am a certified G and a bona fide stud, and you can’t teach that! And this right here, this is Big Cass, and he’s 7 feet tall, and you can’t teach that. Bada boom. Realest guys in the room! How you doin?” was also a hit.
After the split in 2017, Enzo became a two-time Cruiserweight Champion before WWE released him in 2018. Big Cass was also released in 2018 before later returning to wrestling and signing with AEW as Big Bill.
Now, a new report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select claims WWE has shown interest in reuniting the former tag team inside the company. The report also noted that both stars still maintain good relationships with several WWE producers who previously worked with them during their NXT run.
Reports also claimed that Enzo Amore was recently seen at the WWE Performance Center. Meanwhile, Big Cass’ AEW contract is reportedly expected to expire around the end of May or the beginning of June. He currently wrestles in AEW under the name Big Bill alongside Bryan Keith.
Enzo and Cass previously reunited outside WWE at the 2019 ROH G1 Supercard event. Since then, Enzo has continued wrestling on the independent scene under names including nZo and Real1.
With WWE recently trying to rebuild its tag team division, fans have started speculating that the former popular duo could soon return and make the division exciting again.
