From the Bachelor mansion to the driving range! Michelle Money and Mike Weir have been going strong since 2016.
Bachelor Nation met Money on season 15 of The Bachelor. While things didn’t work out with Brad Womack, she returned for season 2 of Bachelor Pad and season 1 of Bachelor in Paradise. During the 2014 season of the Mexico spinoff, she met Cody Sattler. The twosome dated for several months — and appeared on Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars together — before calling it quits.
“Cody and I are not together,” she told Us Weekly during summer 2016. “I am in a new relationship with a wonderful man and am extremely happy!”
That August, Money introduced her fans to Weir, a golfer who made history as the first Canadian to win a major championship when he took home the green jacket at the Masters Tournament in 2003.
The couple began to blend their families. Money, for her part, is the mother of daughter Brielle, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Ryan Money, while Weir shares daughters Elle and Lili with former spouse Bricia Weir.
In April 2020, their family was rocked when Brielle was injured in a skateboarding accident. The teenager, who wasn’t wearing a helmet, was on life support and hospitalized for 26 days, but made a recovery.
“Fortunately, we were lucky enough Brielle walked out of the hospital alive and we got the chance to reparent her where a lot of people don’t get that opportunity and live with regret their whole life,” Michelle told Us in July 2020, adding that she and Ryan will be “stricter” coparents. “We really are so blessed to have had such a great outcome.”
During that same interview, Michelle told Us that she and Mike had no plans to wed, but he asked her to be his “forever girlfriend.” Less than three years later, however, things changed. The duo announced their engagement in January 2023.
“Mike and I are getting married!💍❤️,” the former reality star announced via Instagram. “After dating for almost 7 years- we both want to take that next step and tie the knot! Looking forward to being Mrs. Michelle Weir! I love you baby! You make my dreams come true! Me and you forever! @mweirsy ❤️.”
In the comments section, the PGA tour member added: “I’m a lucky man! ❤️.”
Three months later, Michelle supported Mike at the 2023 Masters via social media.
