“Everything that is beautiful to me… is bound up in you.” Quiver Distribution has unveiled an official US trailer for a romantic drama titled Four Letters of Love, a passionate Irish story about star-crossed lovers who just can’t figure out how to be together. This premiered last year at a few fests and is ready for release this summer, both in the and US and the UK. Based on Niall Williams’ book of the same name. Nicholas and Isabel were made for each other but how will they ever know it? As ghosts, fate and the sheer power of true love pull them together, so too does life threaten to tear them apart. The two lovers are soulmates destined to meet, but love’s path is anything but smooth. Nicholas’ father pursues a divine calling to paint, shattering their quiet life, Isabel’s world also falls apart after a family tragedy. The impressive cast features Pierce Brosnan, Helena Bonham Carter, Gabriel Byrne, with Ann Skelly and Fionn O’Shea as Isabel and Nicholas. Four Letters of Love is directed by British indie producer / filmmaker Polly Steele, director of the films Keeping the Peace, Let Me Go, and The Mountain Within Me previously. The screenplay is written by Niall Williams, adapted from his own best-selling novel of the same name. Produced by Douglas Cummins and Debbie Gray. This first premiered at the 2024 British & Irish Film Festival in New Zealand last year.
