A24 Launches a Membership Program – ‘AAA24’ with Movie Tickets

Join the club! The movie geek A24 fan club! The iconic movie distributor known as A24 based in New York City has just launched their first official “AAA24” membership. It’s the first time a distributor has created a loyalty program that offers actual movie tickets in addition to all the usual perks (discounts, insider access, etc). The membership is $9.99 per month, or $99 per year if you pay annually, and includes a boatload of perks related to A24 movies. While the brand is still strong, A24 has been losing sight of what really matters in the last few years – releasing good movies. And supporting talented filmmakers. They’ve been behind too many mediocre and/or forgettable films recently, but they can’t all be winners of course. Next up for A24 is Celine Song’s new film Materialists, along with the RackaRacka brothers’ next horror film Bring Her Back. Both are out in theaters nationwide this summer. What does AAA24 provide? “Membership gets you a ticket to every A24 movie, plus zines on your doorstep, gifts on your birthday, discounts, exclusives, and more.” 🎟

The intro confirms all the details: “AAA24 members get tickets to A24 movies, a quarterly zine subscription, a gift on their birthday, exclusive products and digital content, 10% off in the Shop, VIP communications through Instagram and text, giveaways and other surprises, [as well as] monthly credits to use toward movies or merch in the Shop or App.” Wait, they’re really giving away a movie ticket for EVERY A24 movie for $9.99 per month? Yep, that’s what they say. “Yes, the plan is to include all A24 movies that play in theaters nationwide.” This will include only some of the major theater chains nationwide in the US. “Members can currently redeem tickets at AMC, Regal, and Alamo Drafthouse theaters.” Everything will show up in the app. It has yet to be seen if this program will actually be worth it? But for 10 bucks a month it sounds too good to be true! Especially if you love A24 movies! Who doesn’t? Well, maybe not everyone, and not every movie they release, but hey – they’re still trying to support great filmmakers and original movies.
