Everyone is talking about the huge changes at CBS, but NBC’s Today Show has been through just as many changes recently. The first major change came when Hoda Kotb left the morning show in 2025. That left open vacancies on the show’s first hour and the fourth hour she co-hosted with Jenna Bush Hager. Now, the morning show faces another huge loss, prompting a host to share a heartfelt goodbye to a colleague.
Hoda Kotb Shares Huge Life Update
It’s been one year since Hoda Kotb left her full-time job as host of The Today Show. Not only did she host the show’s first two hours, but she joined Jenna Bush Hager for the talk show’s fourth hour. But Hoda wanted to spend more time with her two daughters. She took a step back from the NBC morning show, though she still makes appearances. She’ll be among the Today hosts covering the Winter Olympics next month.

Like many of us, Hoda Kotb lost track of time during that weird space between Christmas and New Year’s. She shared advice in her newsletter on how to get back on track.
“1. Jump back into your routine without waiting for motivation. It often shows up once you begin. 2. Restart at a slower pace than usual. Showing up gently still counts. 3. Give yourself at least a week to feel like you’re finding your footing again. 4. Forgive whatever led up to feeling a little off. The holidays are tricky like that,” she advised.
“Slowly, one day and one step at a time, the year begins to find its groove again. And so will you.”
Today Show ‘Won’t Be The Same’ After Loss Of Colleague
The Today Show finally found its groove after Hoda Kotb left when Sheinelle Jones was finally announced as Jenna Bush Hager’s permanent co-host. Then, the morning show hit another speed bump when Savannah Guthrie was injured. She’ll be back eventually.

Craig Melvin took to Instagram to share the news of another shocking departure. He revealed that the show’s longtime music booking producer, Brittany Bosner, was leaving her position.
“Brittany, The TODAY Show won’t be the same without you. 15 years. One incredible legacy. From countless music and Broadway performances to so many unforgettable Citi Summer Concert Series moments, your impact is everywhere,” he wrote on social media.
He continued his heartfelt tribute, “Thank you for being such an amazing colleague, friend, and force behind the scenes. You will be missed dearly. Cheers to your next chapter!”
Craig Melvin posted a selfie with Brittany Bosner. Today hosts Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer posed behind their colleagues. No other details were provided about why the music booking producer is leaving or what her “next chapter” is. However, fans of the show praised Brittany Bosner in the comments, with several calling it a huge loss.
While viewers won’t see the changes from the departure, it could shake things up behind the scenes. Best of luck to Brittany Bosner on her next adventure!
