The Mystery At Blind Frog Ranch Season 5 just premiered with its first episode, and many fans already have questions. The first episode featured Chad Ollinger’s dive into an underwater cavern, which is believed to have a passage to the Keyhole Chamber. But despite making progress, some fans are calling out the film crew for abandoning some parts of the show. Keep reading to see what happened.
Mystery At Blind Frog Ranch: The Show’s Mysterious Encounters
The Mystery At Blind Frog Ranch doesn’t only feature treasure hunting. Over the years, viewers witnessed some strange encounters from the team. One of them happened at night, when they saw the glowing eyes of a mysterious creature watching over them. They believe something is happening in the area of Frog Ranch, especially with all the unexplained disappearances that were reported over the years. The latest episode also featured another shocking encounter from the team. But some fans are calling out the film crew for “abandoning” important parts of the story.

Fans Call Out Show For ‘Abandonment’
Some Mystery At Blind Frog Ranch on social media are calling out the production crew for “abandoning” some parts of the story. One of them happened in the latest episode, where an unknown man took a huge canister and ran away. Many were skeptical about the scene, especially about how perfectly the camera was placed, seemingly anticipating the arrival of the mysterious person. The team confronted the person from afar. However, some think it wasn’t enough to explain what happened. Several commenters even mentioned that the show is known for abandoning such mysterious scenes, saying that viewers shouldn’t expect a follow-up from the incident.

- “So the abandonment of that tunnel filled poisonous gas wasn’t enough to drive you away? The underwater “box” filled with gallium? Abandonment is the very foundation of this show!”
- “I was so mad about the tunnel thing I basically gave up on the show.”
- “It feels like every episode ends with some version of them saying they gotta find another entrance to the flooded caves. 🫠 the other entrances will also be flooded though…they gotta get some better writers on this deal. Lol.”
- “I was just thinking about that tunnel the other day. Like why didn’t they even go back down with proper ventilation like the miners do? Poisonous gas is really common underground and it’s kinda part of the gig. Hell even the Mexicans run ventilation in their tunnels across the border.”
Mystery At Blind Frog Ranch: Fans Think The Show Is Getting More Scripted
Another Mystery At Blind Frog Ranch social media thread also adds fuel to the rumors that the show is fake. According to the OP, every episode has been unrealistic. But the most recent “pointer” rock, which they called a “cairn,” is the deal breaker for them. The poster believes the rock was placed there because of how clean it was, contradicting their claims that it was at least hundreds of years old.

- “Ha… I just came here to say that. At the edge of a cliff, totally exposed, yet unaffected by weather, animals, and humans… since 1520 when Montezuma died, or thereabouts? Don’t think so, Chad!”
- “Bro did look like a turtle from far away tho, but when they got up close..that front “leg” took me out! I literally yelled out loud, “Ohhhh COME ON!!!” Then I realized them sum bucks got me once again! 🥴”
- “The pointer rock is very exposed to the elements. If it is quartz or granite or another hard rock it will remain the same for hundreds of years. And the rock that it points to does look like a turtle! Next week there will be a rock that looks like a bear, really, from the preview.”
The second episode of Season 5 will air on June 25, 2025, on Discovery Channel. If you are looking for more Mystery At Blind Frog Ranch news, come back to TV Shows Ace for all your updates.
