The final episode of WCTH Season 10, Episode 12 entitled “Starry Nights” is premiering on Sunday, October 15, at 9 p.m., Eastern on Hallmark and Peacock. Now, Hearties want to know if there will be another season. Will Hallmark renew When Calls The Heart for Season 11?
There is no need for Hearties to have to wait. Back in February, Deadline reported that the network renewed the long-running series for Season 11.
WCTH is Currently Filming In Vancouver, Canada
Unlike many other series that have been on hold due to the strikes, WCTH got a special waiver from SAG-AFTRA to film Season 11. They began filming the Hallmark series in July and should complete filming in November.
What is unique is that usually, the series has already aired before they started filming. This time around, they are filming a new season as the season they filmed the year prior is finally airing.
There have been some bombshells in Season 10. Therefore, Season 11 will be very different than what fans may have expected. Instead of honeymooning Elizabeth and Lucas, Hearties are going to see them navigate their lives separately.

Is Chris McNally leaving When Calls The Heart? There are a lot of Hearties saying that he is not coming back. This rumor became more prominent when his character Lucas Bouchard ran for Governor. That is because the Governors usually live in Capital City. That would mean that Lucas would not be in Hope Valley, and therefore Chris would not be on the series anymore.
However, contrary to this inaccurate social media gossip, Chris McNally will be back for WCTH Season 11. Chris McNally is not leaving When Calls The Heart.
Since the broken engagement bombshell, he has already shared what fans can expect with Lucas Bouchard next season. Now, Lucas will be more than Elizabeth’s love interest. He is on his own Hero’s Journey. He will be affecting change in government, as he embarks on his new path.
When Will WCTH Season 11 Premiere?
When Hallmark plans to air WCTH Season 11 is a mystery. That is because, in almost every year, they premiered in the late Winter or early Spring. However, for Season 10, they premiered in late July. Moreover, there was never an explanation.
However, Hallmark did premiere two new series, The Way Home, and Ride. They both aired before WCTH Season 10 premiered. Could the same thing happen in 2024? That is not clear. The Way Home has been renewed for Season 2. But, Hallmark has not announced what their plans for Ride are.
Therefore, we know that Hallmark is filming Season 11, but when it will premiere is a question mark.
