Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s Hollywood Career Is ‘Hopeless’ – ‘People Are Sick Of Them!’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have worn out their welcome!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been trying to make it big in Hollywood ever since leaving the royal family. And while they initially landed some massive deals, things have fizzled fast! And now, everyone’s apparently sick of ’em! A Hollywood insider told Page Six on Tuesday:

“There is not only no appetite left for them in LA, but they’ve also worn through any good will they had.”

Uh oh…

Another source was just as brutal, dishing:

“People are sick of them, the act has gotten stale.”

Yikes!

In a clear sign that the industry has been left disappointed by them, Netflix just downgraded their deal to a first-look deal similar to the one they have with the Obamas. It’s better than getting booted, but compared to their original $100 million multi-year deal, it’s terrible! Then, of course, there’s also been the lackluster attempts at podcasting, mostly on Meg’s part, and other Netflix docs that resulted in poor viewership.

An insider is blaming all this on the couple’s lack of finesse when it comes to business. The confidant said:

“They’re just hopeless in professional settings.”

Oof! Proving their point, the outlet learned the Spare author once showed up late to a Netflix meeting… then had the audacity to ask an executive for some hot chocolate! WHAT?! Apparently, this is the father of two’s drink of choice — it’s been documented in other outlets, such as in Vanity Fair when they reported a Spotify staffer claimed Harry asked for the same drink but “there was none in the office, so employees scrambled to obtain some.” The same report claimed:

“An idea was pitched to Harry — what if he reviewed a hot chocolate every week while chatting with a different friend… which he and his team considered and rejected.”

OMG. LOLz!

While Harry may come across childish AF, the Suits alum has a very different set of challenges, the source added:

“She’s convinced she’s smarter than everyone and dismissive.”

We’ve heard about her being “awful” and difficult to work with for YEARS — both inside The Firm and in La La Land. This kind of attitude can’t be helping her career! Entertainment is collaborative, after all. The only thing going for them is Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos is said to be good friends with the couple still, so with him on their side, maybe they’ve still got a future in the biz. Maybe…
