Why CBS did not air Matlock’s Episode 7 on Thursday?
Matlock is on a temporary hiatus due to the holiday season.
Episode 7, titled “Belly of the Beast,” was initially set to air on Thursday, November 21, in its regular time slot. However, CBS announced that the episode would be delayed. The series will also be absent next week, as Thursday, November 28, coincides with Thanksgiving. Instead, CBS plans to air Let’s Make a Deal from 8:30 to 9:00 p.m., per TV Guide listings.
When Matlock returns, the episode will see Matty teaming up with Julian on a case involving a young woman who suffered severe symptoms after participating in a clinical trial. She files a lawsuit against the company responsible. At the same time, Olympia is startled by a surprising revelation about Julian’s past.
