Deborah Ann Woll’s Other Thriller Is a Streaming Hit Amid Daredevil Return

The Man in the White Van has surged to the top of the streaming charts in the United States. The film’s strong performance comes at a time when Deborah Ann Woll is back in focus following her return in Daredevil: Born Again, drawing renewed attention to her work in the thriller.

The Man in the White Van is a streaming hit on Starz in the United States. According to FlixPatrol, as of April 1, 2026, the film ranks at number 2, though it was at the top, before Now You See Me: Now You Don’t took over.

The film is currently ahead of several high-profile titles on the platform, including Good Fortune, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and The Long Walk, among others. 

Directed by Warren Skeels, the film was released in theaters on December 13, 2024. Set in 1974 in a small Florida town, the story follows Annie Williams, a young girl who becomes the target of a man driving a white van that repeatedly appears around her. Despite her growing concern, her parents fail to take the threat seriously, allowing the situation to escalate. 

As the encounters become more frequent, the tension builds toward a Halloween night that turns into a terrifying experience. Madison Wolfe leads the cast as Annie Williams. Other cast member includes Brec Bassinger as Margaret Williams, Skai Jackson as Patty Tolliver, Gavin Warren as Daniel Williams, and Deborah Ann Woll as a waitress, among others.

Critical response to the film has been mixed, while audience response has been more favorable. On Rotten Tomatoes, it holds a critics score of 57 percent, compared to a 71 percent audience rating.

CBR reported, “For what it is, The Man In the White Van is a solid and respectable endeavor, beautifully crafted and shot, impeccably designed, and with a worthwhile payoff in its final fifteen-minute stretch.”
