The title of the upcoming Blue Lock Chapter 289 is reportedly “Death Game Part 2.” It will continue the plot thread revolving around Yukimiya as he will use Yoichi Isagi as a diversion to get past Tabito Karasu.
Isagi will be glad about Yukimiya’s entrance
While Isagi will be surprised by this play, he will ultimately understand and be glad about it. The reason Yukimiya was sent into the field was to unleash chaos. And his unorthodox and selfish gameplay will do just that.
Yukimiya will fail to score
Unfortunately, unlike Isagi, Yukimiya isn’t willing to sacrifice his own agenda for the greater good of the team. His main objective remains to demonstrate that he is a better player than Isagi. However, he will apparently not be successful in that regard this time around. He will manage to dribble past several members of the opposing team but will ultimately fail to score due to the goalkeeper’s fast reaction.
Missed opportunity for Bastard München
When the ball eventually gets back to Isagi, he will reportedly have to choose to go forward with the ball himself or pass to one of his teammates in Bastard München. He will decide on the latter and send it to Alexis Ness, hoping that Ness will pass it back to him once he gets close. However, Ness will decide to give the ball to Michael Kaiser instead, and that will give the opponent team the chance to clear the ball.
