THE CONTAINMENT: “The Containment, the supernatural horror film directed by Zagha Boys: Jack Zagha Kababie & Yossy Zagha Kababie and starring Gia Hunter (Paramount Pictures’ Primate) will be released exclusively in theaters in the U.S. and Canada by Level 33 Entertainment on January 23rd, 2026.

The Containment stars Hunter as the young and troubled Caroline Cobbler, who comes in contact with a dark and sinister force. After the tragic death of her father, Caroline becomes possessed by a demon and when her mother involves the church, they find a horror that’s even deadlier than the possession itself. 

The cast is rounded out by Jack Gouldbourne (Fighting with My Family, Britbox series Sister Boniface Mysteries), Charlotte Hunter (American Psycho, Roanoke: The Lost Colony), and Fernanda Romero (The Eye, Line of Duty, The Burning Plain).

The film is helmed and produced by brothers Jack Zagha Kababie and Yossy Zagha Kababie and co-written with David Desola. Level 33 acquired the film from Black Mandala who is handling worldwide sales.

THE AGREEMENT AT CLIVEMORE Enters 2026 Festival Circuit as Feature Development Moves Forward: “The Agreement at Clivemore, a horror short directed by Ryan Godoy and written by David Draper, has officially entered the 2026 film festival circuit, already generating early buzz within the genre community. A feature-length adaptation is currently in development, with plans targeting late 2026.
Starring Tony Amendola (Annabelle, Mask of Zorro, The Curse of La Llorona) and Jamison Jones (The Wretched), the film asks, “If you signed your life away, how would you get it back?” The story: When a newly appointed hospital director arrives at the gothic Clivemore Hospital, he is forced to sign a cryptic agreement that binds every employee to a deadly curse. As myth and reality begin to erode, he must uncover the truth before the darkness claims both him and the woman he loves.

The film was shot at the Garner House, a historic Inland Empire property just outside Los Angeles, long rumored to be haunted. Local legend claims a former resident buried stolen gold somewhere on the grounds making it a fitting backdrop for a story steeped in secrets, horror, and dark legacy.

THE AGREEMENT AT CLIVEMORE marks the latest collaboration between Godoy and Draper, and highlights the growing wave of Inland Empire-based filmmakers creating elevated genre work beyond the traditional Hollywood pipeline. Prior to its screen incarnation, the script was adapted into an audio drama by UK-based creators Miscreation and featured in a horror anthology released on Spotify, Audible, and Apple Podcasts.

Filming Has Officially Begun on ‘Key of Bones: Curse of the Ghost Pirate’: “Filming is officially underway on the upcoming horror-comedy Key of Bones: Curse of the Ghost Pirate, a supernatural feature bringing pirate lore, dark humor, and genuine ghost stories together in one of the most haunted locations in America: Key West, Florida.

The film blends eerie folklore with playful terror, leaning into a horror-comedy tone that balances unsettling supernatural moments with character-driven humor and chaos. Rather than spoofing horror, Key of Bones embraces it—using laughs to heighten the scares and make the danger feel even more unpredictable.

At the center of the story are three unlikely characters: a Key West waitress, a ghost-tour guide, and a visiting tourist. Their paths cross when a set of washed-up, cursed coins is discovered, unknowingly triggering the return of the infamous pirate Anne Bonny. What begins as curiosity and coincidence quickly spirals into a supernatural nightmare as her ghost resurfaces in a violent spiritual awakening, unleashing mischievous spirits and long-bound entities across the island.
