Plight had its world premiere as the Showcase Selection at the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival and went on to win Best Picture at four additional festivals. Writer and director M.J. Alhabeeb Jr. was also awarded Best Director at the Orlando Film Festival.
Ada Pasternak stars in Plight in her on-screen debut. Known for her career as a violinist and singer-songwriter, Pasternak has garnered over 15 million streams for her hit song “Perfectly Imperfect.” She stars opposite Matthew J. Plumb, best known as the voice of the Premier League on NBC.
Plight opens in theaters on June 13, 2025 and is coming soon to VOD.
