Spoilers for what happened on General Hospital on January 6, 2026
Charlotte’s Disappearing Act
Nathan informs Lulu that Charlotte had skipped school and gone to the Quartermaine mansion. Lulu continues to worry because Charlotte deceived her about her whereabouts. When the girl comes back, Lulu doesn’t hold back. But Charlotte defends herself, saying that she went to see Danny. She then deceives Lulu again by acknowledging her mother’s worries as valid to get out of the situation.
Carly Has Plans for Valentin
While Valentin is preparing to leave, Carly shows up and asks if he’s leaving town with Charlotte, and warns that she won’t let it happen. However, he insists that he isn’t taking Charlotte with him, but has to leave after she came to visit her. Especially since Sidwell threatened Ace, he intends to keep her daughter safe from any possible threats.
Surprisingly, Carly believes that her house is the safest place for him right now and urges him not to leave. Instead, she asks him to come up with a plan to deal with Sidwell and Jack.
Alexis Makes a Smart Move
At the courthouse, Alexis pressures Jacinda into revealing that she wasn’t with Michael the night Drew got shot. Alexis then questions Tracy about whether she saw Michael outside of Drew’s house that night, while holding a folder labeled “Home Security Footage.” Under pressure, Tracy confirms that she indeed saw him there. When Turner cross-examines her, she notes that it was pitch black, implying that she may have been mistaken about who she saw that night.
Michael Defends Himself
Alexis then calls Michael on the stand. He denies any allegations of shooting Drew, saying that he never went in. She then pursues him to admit that Drew poses a threat to his children, giving him the motive to commit the crime.
Turner cross-examines him, allowing him to explain what he was doing outside of Drew’s house. He says that he went to warn Drew to stay away from Willow, but never went in because he got a call from Wiley. He has a dedicated ringtone for his son, which stopped him from confronting the congressman.
Dante Feels Guilty
Dante is back at the station, where he confides in Nathan that he may have pushed Michael to be the man he is now. He recalls being the one who urged Michael to surrender back then, which led to a lot of emotional trauma during his time in prison. Nathan reassures him and says that he’ll help in the case.
Liz’s Testimony
Outside the courtroom, Trina and Kai recall hearing a children’s ringtone—the one that Michael talked about—inside Drew’s house that night. They then conclude that Michael lied on the stand and that he shot Drew. Meanwhile, Alexis asks Liz, who’s on the stand, whether Michael had the opportunity to steal Edward’s gun from the house, to which she confirms that he did.
