In the land of Nashville, a big day has been set for Morgan Wade, who will hold back-to-back shows around the release of her new album entitled The Party Is Over. The singer-songwriter will first hold an intimate album release show at the Gibson Garage before heading to the Grand Ole Opry stage to play.

The Instagram post captures Wade in a casual pose holding her Gibson acoustic guitar. The floral pickguard hinted toward that organic vibe she channels into her music. Fans poured into comments expressing excitement and regrets over missing the double celebrations.
The comments expressed being stuck in New Jersey, whereas another from Brazil sent a lovely note in Portuguese: “From here in Brazil, know that I’m rooting for you and wishing you success always.” Stories like this international support highlight Wade’s global appeal aside from her Americana style.
The comments progressed onto Wade’s outfit, one commenting that she loved her boots, while another called the Opry photo ‘an absolute favorite,’ crediting Erika Rock for truly capturing Wade’s essence. This less-than-glamorous style—tattoos all the way out, basic clothing—speaks to the audience who view her as the complete antithesis of slick country pop.
However, not all comments were worth praising. One wisecracker took exception at the Gibson Garage moniker, quipping, “If you’re living in a garage you can only afford an Epiphone,” a sarcastic jab at Gibson’s cheaper sister brand. This playful taunt against guitar elitism fits Wade’s working-class lyricism perfectly.
A few must have caught her recently as a Kansas City concertgoer said Wade “killed it,” with others somewhat agreeing, validating the intensity of her live presence. Many expressed the envy of being unable to attend the Nashville shows, leaving one forlornly asking, “Can you stay till the 1st?”
The nature of the split tour calls for a defining statement for Wade’s double-sided nature: gritty, garage-laden venues, and grandiose country temples. The not-so-simple caption, “See y’all tomorrow!,” barely covers how crucial this moment really is: staging her ascent as a rising star on her own terms in the firmament of Nashville.
Wade is about to put something out, and all these comments are a testament to all the people willing to take on whatever story she wants to tell. Whether it be through her lyrics of addiction and heartbreak or just that unvarnished feeling she gives when she’s wrapped in a guitar, seen unfettered in an Instagram post, Wade cannot lose her credibility. The Party Is Over might be the album title, but for Morgan Wade, the partying is just beginning.

Wade’s dedication to fitness is evident as she also shares her intense back and tricep workout routine, showing that her hard work extends beyond music.
